    The service was impressive, and the hotel's location near St Mark's square made exploring Venice easy. The noise from the dining area was disruptive in the morning, and our room didn't offer the promised garden view .

    The management and staff are professional, efficient and helpful.

    I strongly disagree with the star rating.Our room (no 343)was a huge disappointment and nothing like the website photos - an expensive experience for South Africans.In fairness,the manager did offer an alternate room on request,but as disappointing.

    I had the most wonderful stay! The breakfast selection was top-notch, especially enjoying it in the enchanting garden, and the spa treatment was divine. I would definitely go back!

    I loved the proximity to both the fine Basilica di San Marco, just a short stroll away, and the charming nearby cafes which were perfect for a quick break. The staff also.

    hotel of course old and steeped in history of Venice but clean well located overlooking all the action on the grand canal. Very comfortable bed and food was excellent.People from other higher rated hotels came here to eat!

    The breakfast was a complete disaster with minimal choices and poorly managed food supply. I couldn't believe I paid a premium for croissants that were average at best and a breakfast buffet that featured more pineapple than anything else! The entire hotel seemed outdated, from the physical room keys to the shower design that guaranteed a puddled floor after every use.

    The hotel was easy to access by water taxi and very close to the bustle of St. Marks square.

    The elevator was barely big enough for one person. The room safe could not accommodate more than a few pieces of jewelry and the air conditioning didn't work in the room.
